Recording to CD or DVD

Hiya all, I am new to TiVo and have a question. Is there a way to save my recordings to my hard drive or better yet...to a CD or DVD from my computer? Any ideas? :)

what kind of tivo you got? series 2? directivo? one w/ a dvd burner?

I have a series 2 Tivo and not one with a cd or dvd recorder...but i do have both internal and SCSI for my laptop

You might want to do a "search" of these forums using the words "TiVo to Go". (See the search button near the top of this webpage.)

There's a way to run your recordings directly to your computer, and use DVD editing software to burn them to disc...

Your computer DOES have a DVD burner, right? (If not you could always burn them to Video CD.)
