Sony tivo svr-2000--how do i knowif it has lifetime?

I got this at a garage sale. I do not have cable tv. How can I find out if it has a lifetime subscription? Is there a web page to go to check? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And have it dial TiVo. I bought a used SVR-2000 that said "Lifetime" on the status screen, but when I ran the guided setup it reverted to "Account Closed". The previous owner had cancelled the account and got a refund!
