How can I determine whether my digital cable box will work with a dual-tuner Tivo?i've never heard about any that don't. the dt was designed specifically for cable tv subscribers. there's no reason it wouldn't work with any of the current digital stb's.

But you can only record one thing off the cable box at a time.

But you can record 2 things at the same time if one of them is a analog channel.

It will work with your cable box, but the question is how manyanalog channels do you receive, so that you can take advantage of the dual tuner functionality...Easy way to check the channels is by plugging cable cord directly into tv.
