View Full Version : Tivo remote code for Yamaha YSP-800 Speaker?

Has anyone found a Tivo remote control code that does both volume +/- AND mute with the Yamaha YSP-800? I use code 1201 (the only one that works) but it only controls the volume. When I press "mute" on the tivo remote, nothing happens.

bump. Anyone using a YSP-800 or TSP-1000 with the tivo remote succesfully? I just want mute :-)

Awesome!! This is exactly what I am looking for... Thanks supasta... I guess I just have to find a free few hours to sit in front of the tv sifting through codes :cool:

OK, didn't take that long for me to find out there is no MUTE for my YSP-800 on the tivo remote :( Are there newer remote versions that would have more codes?

I had the same problem with my YSP-1000. However, my Series 3 remote has a learning function and I had to teach it the mute code. Maybe when TiVo starts selling the S3 remote in the store you can pick one up.

I have the YSP-1000 and Love it. Same prob vol control works but Mute did not.

I found a link using google to program just the Mute button and after that life was good. Unfortunately I cannot find the link now.

Ultimately I ended up buying a Harmony 890 which is simply elegant!
