I have searched to see if i can find my answer, however, I'm not too sure if I found the exact answer I'd like to know.
I'm considering to purchase Dell UltraSharp 2007 LCD Monitor, in order to use as my computer monitor and also hopefuly able to watch my tivo (s2).
I found several thread asking about same kind of questions and the answer for those questions was either getting tv tuner box, or VGA converter..? ( I think).
Since this Dell LCD monitor includes Video input with DVI, RGB, S-Video, Composite video...
With my limited knowledge, I assume I will be able to connect Tivo to this LCD monitor using either S-video nor composite..
Before I purchase this LCD monitor, I'd like to have some veteran's advise if that really works or not...
If someone can help me with this question, I will really appriciate it!!!
Thanks,

I have a 2005fpw, and I have used the composite input to hook up to the video output on other devices. I have not specifically tried a TiVo, but it shouldn't be different than anything else. Is the 2007 widescreen or normal?

Thanks,
Just for you, I plugged my SAT-T60 (Series 1 DirecTiVo) into my Dell 2007FP via the s-video input, and as expected, it worked just fine! :)

Whether the Dell UltraSharp 2007 LCD Monitor can hook up to the Tivo or not you need to get this monitor! I'm using it now as I type this. Amazing quality! Simply amazing. Awesome stand! The screen rotates along the Z-axis so that you can plug stuff into on it's bottom easily! You can crank the resolution up to the max! Do it! Do it! .... Do it!

That's not why it rotates. It rotates so you can use it in portrait mode.

Dell Monitors tend to be decent, but I always felt they were overpriced. When I shop for monitors (I've purchased 12 or 14 in the past few months for work) I tend to end up going with BenQ. High quality, and lower prices. I have two FP202Ws on my desk at work. (20.1" widescreen.) And most of the developers here have 19" BenQs. There are some older 17" screens around too. We have a bunch of Dell monitors which are older.

Dell's 2001FP and 2005FPW for a long time were considered bargains (w/their random deals and coupons) for the level of quality and warranty coverage. Their regular prices weren't the best though.
However, now it seems like even w/coupons, their prices are nothing special.
