Connecting Series 2 Tivo by Verizon aircard (no hub,no phone line)

Hello. I am going to be getting rid of my DSL and just using a Verizon aircard for my ISP. I would like to get rid of my phone line altogether, but wasn't sure it was possible. If I buy an adaptor for both of my Series 2 Tivos, will they be able to receive updates off of the connection from the aircard?
