weird recording

I have a Series 2 (1 tuner), I was watching channel 406 on Directv and I decided to record a 2 minute clip to show it to my brother, I uploaded the video to my PC, I decided to watch it and it was the wrong recording. My DVR recorded channel 408 but I don't know how this happened if I was watching the promo on live TV while I was recording it. How did my Tivo record channel 408 while I was watching channel 406? :confused: Did this ever happened to anyone else?

I would guess that your satellite receiver did not receive the message from your tivo telling it to change channels. So tivo thinks it's on 408, but the receiver is still on 406. It happens.
