My local provider rebroadcasts ATSC signal through their cable, along with some unencrypted QAM signals. Unbeknownest to me at the time, but it seems that they have changed the internal frequencies for HD/Digital channels from their OTA counterparts on some of them. I've submitted a line-up change to hopefully get it fix, but I really doubt anything will come out of it since I am technically in a "small" market through a "small" cable company. But by god they're big enough to give me a 10Mb cable connection... ;)

Oh and yes I now own a Series 3.. last one (of 2) at the local Best Buy.

If it truly is an ATSC signal then you should be able to pick it up on the equivelent ATSC channels. However unencrypted QAM is a different story. TiVo can't do much with those without a couple of CableCARDs.

I pick them up, mostly labeled (probably from PSIP), but since most of them are running on a different frequency through the cable system they do not have guide data.
