Yep, I found what must have been THE ONLY FRICKIN SERIES 3 IN A 50 MILE RADIUS. I had to trek through DC to Maryland to get mine (Tenley didn't have one EVEN THOUGH THE BRAINDEAD SALES ASSOCIATE SAID THEY WERE IN STOCK). It was almost worth the $800 not to have to trek another 100 miles or so to find one.
I think if the things were availble I wouldn't get it, but I felt like i was searching for the holy grail. After last night's fiasco, I JUST HAD TO GET IT (I don't like it when I want something and can't get it).
It's nice so far, but Cox has seemingly no rhyme or reason for the digital/HD channels. I've only been able to find about 3 so far out of 15 or so on the system (MHD and CBS).
Can't wait to slap in a couple of cable cards. :-)
