Hi,

I'd like to get some input on what the fair market value would be for a Series 1 Philips Tivo with 300 hours of space (2 drives inside - ~120 each). The unit has had the tivo ethernet card installed internally to hook it up to the Internet. No lifetime. Also has tivoweb running on it.

What do you guys think that is worth?

Thanks!

Check eBay completed listings to see what people have been willing to pay. That's the best way.

Even with the network card, it may not be worth very much, given that S2 boxes with much newer software are almost being given away.

I checked past history at ebay, but there's nothing that really compares...

Well, people have recently paid $35 and $63 for unaltered series 1 boxes. I suppose since they can be used without a subscription, they have some value. I'd be astonished if anyone paid more than $100 for yours, but one never knows. (If it had Lifetime, it would sell for $300.)
