My DT, 540 and 240 were all set to record the same 2 programs (1/2 hr each) on the same channel tonite.
The first 1/2 hr program cut off approx 1 min before the end. The end of the first program was picked up at the start of the second program and the 2nd program ended approx. 1 minute early. All 3 Tivo's recorded the same "shortness" at the end of the first program and the end of the 1st was on at the start of the second. It was the local Fox channel.
According to the grid time the 1st program was to start at 7pm and the 2nd at 7:30pm. They were not SP programs. My question is could the Tivo's all be off by a minute or is there a setting that I haven't used??
Thank you.

Thank you.same thing happened to me a while back and what cured the problem was a power reset. unplug the tivo for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and wait till the reboot cycle finishes (takes a few minutes).

That sucks. I get the same problem.

I set it to record something... like on the history channel.. or fox..

and about 30 seconds or maybe a minute from a previous show is recorded on the start of each show, and the same amount is cut off at the end.

I would think they would have fixed this problem by now. grr
