Can someone recommend an expensive home wireless router that I would use with TIVOs Wireless G Network adapter. I understand Tivos adapter plugs into the USB port on the Series 3. It then connects with the home router that is connected to your cable modem/PC.

Expensive? Sure, you can have mine. How about $500? $1000? :)

Seriously...any of the Linksys routers would work just fine. The one I have (WRT54GS) can be had for under $50 many places online I believe.

I'm assuming you mean INexpensive. Unless you've got money to burn, in which case I'll let you buy me my second S3. :D I use Linksys's Wireless G Access point and their WIRED router with 8 port switch. You can get them as a combo however, just depends on how your home network is set up now. I see that in the Tivo Store on Tivo.com they sell Linksys routers, so I'm taking that as a loose recommendation for Linksys products that work with the Tivo Wireless adapter. I just bought my S3 today with the Tivo Wireless adapter, so I'll let you know how well it connects to my Linksys Wireless access point.

Here's a link to their Wireless Router: Linksys Wireless Router (http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1133202177241&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper)

And the Wireless Access Point: Linksys Wireless Access Point (http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1126536803676&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper)

If you really want an expensive router with maximum 802.11g wireless range, check out the Netgear Rangemax 240.

You can get it for $119 (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?categoryid=pcmcat25300050001&id=1130980222653&skuid=7590831&tl_mid=95&type=product&DCMP=KNC-TLC&ref=25&loc=MSY) from Best Buy.

Expensive wouldn't help you unless you have such an advanced setup you need a configuration provided by a commercial router.

From the reviews I've seen, that Netgear model linked above provides just about the best combination of throughput and range for 802.11g wireless networking.

That said, I personally wouldn't spend much money on a 802.11g router with 802.11n about a year off. Moreover, assuming you don't need wireless connectivity for other devices, you would get better throughput to the Series3 using Netgear Powerline adapters (http://reviews.cnet.com/Netgear_Powerline_HD_Ethernet_Adapter/4505-3304_7-31970278.html). If I were buying a product for streaming HDTV (in realtime) without wires today, I would go with the Netgear Powerline solution, sold by Buy.com for $189 (http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=202804005&SearchEngine=Shopper&SearchTerm=202804005&Type=PE&Category=Comp&Gad=0&dcaid=15889).
