so I called time warner cable today about the cable card and they asked me how many I need I said 2 and he was like hold on a moment and put me on hold and then asked why I needed 2 and I said, because I'm going to use them on tivo series 3. The guy on the phone then said we don't support tivo, we can't guarantee it will work and the tech will not install the cable card in the tivo but the tech can give it to you and you can install it yourself. I said okay and then he continued to say but we can't guarantee it will work with are system. I said okay make an appointment and he gave me the 28th of this month he also said it will be 17.00 bucks to come out.
I can't believe it will cost 17 bucks for him to come out and do nothing at all but hand me the card and tell me to do it myself. Oh well.

That is an absolute rip! They shouldn't even charge you 17 if they want you to install it yourself and can't guarantee whether the card would work.
