Anyone found anything on getting one at Best Buy yet? I called two and they knew nothing, said they'd be out in Feb. I said they came out today so they said they'd have them in 2-3 weeks, I said they showed up as in stock on the website and they said they had no idea. geez.

I called a store in Pasadena which is a part of Magnolia and they said Spring of 2007! Yeah, I almost laughed my ass off with that answer. LOL

I see the Series 3 on the Circuit City website, but not on the Best Buy website.

Anyone finding it on BestBuy site, please include link.

For Best Buy, you have to visit their Brand Category for TiVo to find it.

The shortcut is:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=pcmcat100400050020&type=category

Use the "check availability" link on that page. It says they are available in stock in this area, but if you add it to your cart, you can't check out.

I assumed searching for Tivo on the BestBuy sitee would bring it up.....but that makes too much sense.

$799 anyhow. What a deal from Best Buy.

Very true. I tried last night and kept pressing on the "continue" button to no avail. :( Will have to try to call them today to see whether or not they have them in stock or not.

Why are you so adamant about buying it from Best Buy and not Tivo.com? Is it to buy the service warranty that they sell?

I'm starting to assume it will be expired before I can actually go into a store to purchase an S3. I can't use the coupon online.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I would consider buying at BestBuy if I can walk into the store and walk out with an S3, instead of waiting for shipping. But it doesn't look like any of our local stores have them.

Go to the store, give them the SKU and preorder it. Since you will be paying in advance, they should be able to apply the 10% off.

I'm probably just going to use the Circuit City 10% off coupon instead. Not worth the hassle and both charge me tax. It's only $5 to ship.
