I sure am, seems worse than ever since the 7.3.1 software came thru. Wonder if anyone got a fix for this one?

I don't think they ever found a fix for this. The only solution is to replace your remote. If you call customer service, they might replace it for free. They did for me.

So a new remote got you going! What did they send you? Is is something special? I've tried using the remote from my series 1, which will control most of the functions of the DRT-800, but still had double press problem. It is especially bad when keying in a title for a DVD.
