Just wondering what the average power draw is. With all these people splitting hairs over monthly fees, electricity use of 2 boxes over 1 is a significant ammount. A continuous 50 watt load is about $3/month in electricity, not to mention the extra BTUs to cool the room

Nobody actually has one yet, other then reviewers and beta testers, so I doubt it. Give it about a week and I'm sure someone will be able to post this information.

That's something I was wondering too...
Just for comparison, I put a Killawatt on my Comcast 6412 (old one, not PIII), and it runs 50watts.
It's about 46W with power off (eg video card turned off and less disk head seeks.) That's significant, and it gets HOT. During the last heat wave, I put a USB fan on it and made a big difference :) but louder.
In comparison, my Sony SVR2000 w/ 120GB hdd is 22W.
So if I combine them to a single S3, I'll be reducing from ~75W to whatever the S3 is.
Of course I guess I'll be keeping the old lifetime S1 around for a year :)
