Just placed my order online through TiVo. Called customer service and was told 4-6 day shipping was free. Not the case -- listed as about $5 when I went to confirm the order. Then decided to go withh two business day shipping, and it was about $20 -- total $820.
BTW, did not have to go with any bundle....just purchased the hardware.
EDIT: Ooops....goofed...accidentally ordered thru the lifetime transfer option. Had to cancel since I don't have lifetime. Oh well...I'll bet other folks will make this same mistake if they don't look carefully. Ordered it thru CC instead.
Me too!
I went 1 day ($36.31), I just can't wait!!!

I just ordered 2, with 2-day shipping. Heh, looks like I'm going shopping for another HDTV now :)
Called charter too... $1.50 per cablecard. So that's $6.00 a month, plus I'll be able to drop the 12-15 bucks a month for my moxi rental, and the 6 or 8 bucks a month for the standard digital box. Not gonna miss those. Looks like for the PPV I should still be able to call in and order through the phone also, which isn't so bad, just order UFC a couple times a year and that's it.

Just ordered mine a little bit ago, and have already called Buckeye Cable to schedule an appointment for 2 cablecards. The CSR was surprised that I wanted 2 cablecards and asked if I was sure I really needed that many since the number of limited HD channels available for recording... I was surprised that he didn't hassle me about using Tivo over their boxes. The cards are $3.35/ea per month.
Had to pay tax here in Ohio, and opted for 2-day shipping as well.

Actually, since I had to cancel through TiVo, and BB Web site isn't working properly on ordering the S3, I ordered it through Circuit City...two-day shipping...supposed to have it by Friday at the latest.

Just ordered mine from TiVo
Can't wait!!!
UGH, I got burned by Cox in the cable card fiasco.
Bounced to 3 people and then had to lie to get the lady to schedule my install.
The first couldn't tell me if they have multi-stream cards so transferred to tech support.
They say they only have single stream and they can't place orders there so back to orders.
This lady is happy to help, but once I mention 2 cards she balks and I have to calm her down.
Then when I mention TiVo it goes worse, "we don't carry Tivo cards".
Um, yeah. So I just told her the tech guys said that I needed a normal card and got scheduled.
Too bad I didn't think to find out when my Tivo was being delivered so I could get an earlier install, I choose Sunday for now.
Oh, watch out for the install fee's, cox is $70 per card!
So $140!!!
That changed when I explained they are both for the same box and then I got into that Tivo problem ("we don't carry Tivo cards" above).
UGH, cable company's.

How long before non-beta testers, non-pre-release reviewers actually have units?

Ordered one through the VIP lifetime transfer option.... Called Comcast about cable cards.... they want to send a tech out... fun... I'll call to schedule when I get the box, in the mean time I drive by their retail customer service store front every day so I might stop in and just ask for cards there. see what they say... They told me the cards were no charge.
