Anyone else having issues with scheduling Sunday Ticket games? When I attempt to record a game it states that the game is a Pay Per View event, and that the "Cost information is not available for this program...".

Another issue is that some of the channels are missing from the guide data. According to DirecTV's site channels 719 & 720 have HD games tomorrow. These channels do not show up under the "Channels I Receive", and thus do not show up in the guide data.

DirecTV claims that everything will work fine tomorrow AM. The issue is that you can't schedule games to record. What about those of us that are wanting to schedule a game right now because we will not be near the receiver to schedule/record it tomorrow.

This same issue happened last year during a couple of the weeks. I recall one week that I was on the phone an hour or so before the game, and they "fixed" the issue just before the games started.

WeKnSmith,

Same problem here in Houston. I just got the new model 700 installed yesterday so I was looking forward to watching the Saints/Browns game on channel 720. It is not showing up in the Guide on my new receiver or my older RCA DirectTivo unit. Talked to an HD Specialist at DirectTv for about an hour earlier today. She had me reset both receivers and go through a bunch of stuff. No luck. They "hope" it will show up by tomorrow. If not, I have a tech scheduled to come to my house on Thursday. According to Directv, it should be in the guide regardless of whether you catch it or not. Please post here if and when it shows up for you. The fact that you aren't seeing it either tells me it is NOT something wrong with my new dish and setup. Guess that is at least good news ....

Thanks!

Earl

There's an easy workaround for scheduling a recording. Just set up a manual recording for a specific time/channel. Of course, that won't fix the issue where the channel is not present, I believe the channel has to be present to select it from the list of channels.

The channels were there earlier in the week, then disappeared last night. They'd better be there tomorrow, or D* CSRs will get an earful from me!

I scheduled Sunday's Jets game to record yesterday and it worked fine. I better check again to see if the channels are still there...

...DirecTV claims that everything will work fine tomorrow AM...

Everything is fine as of this morning on the HR10-250s.

As of 12 AM last night channels 719 & 720 were not showing up.

It gets better. The guide data for my DRT-400 was wrong, and it wanted to record a channel that is different than what DTV's site listed.

I did not trust it, and set up the DRT-400 to record channel 705 anyway (Saints vs Browns). I just checked it. It is recording the Browns, but the now playing list says that it is recording the Eagles at the Texans on channel 705.

The details from the show info are as follows:

Channel: 705 NFL4
Title: NFL Football
Episode Title: Philadelphia Eagles at Houston Texans
Time: 1 PM EST
Duration: 3 Hours
