I am considering getting NFL Sunday Ticket for the first time. The only purpose is to watch the Browns games. The schedule for the first two weeks are out and the Browns are in HD in the first week (against NFC Saints, carried on Fox) and the second week only SD (against AFC Bengals, carried on CBS).
I assume that CBS allocates more HD broadcasts to the bigger market, is this true? Does anyone have any idea how many Browns games were HD last year on Sunday ticket? I have an HR 10 -250 so the only benefit to the Super Fan package is the HD games (should be included anyway), I can't get all the interactive stuff.
Thanks,
Tom

CBS only does 3 games a weekend in HD and they cover the AFC. All FOX games will be in HD. From my experience, it seems like CBS usually picks the best games to show in HD, so if the Browns are playing on CBS, there is probably less than a 50:50 chance that it will be in HD. If the Browns do well and start contending for the division title, then CBS will probably cover more of their games in HD.

All FOX games will be in HD. .
This is a common misconception because in most weeks it is true. In fact, Fox will carry up to 6 games in HD. In some non-bye weeks Fox actually has 7 games, one of which will not be in HD.
For example, on Sunday the Cardinals-49ers game is not in HD.

As for the OP, I am afraid since the Browns aren't very good, the chances of them being chosen by CBS as one of the better games is not good. I am in the same position with the Texans.
Look for games when and NFC opponent plays at Cleveland...those are your best bets to be in HD.
