Lost, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy specials

There are upcoming half-hour recap/preview specials for Lost, Desperate Housewives, and Grey's Anatomy. The Lost one is showing up as part of the series for me, while the other two are separate specials, and all three are listed simply by program title. My local ABC station is showing them on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 17th.

Mine have been on at I believe 11:35 on Saturday or Sunday nights. Grey's Anatomy was this past weekend, and I think Lost is this coming weekend. Both were picked up by the SP's as First Run episodes. Not sure about DH.

All were picked up by my SPs.Huh. My DTiVo guide data is even weirder than I first thought--looks like the new series ID for the GA and DH specials has infected some repeats of the regular show on ABC (for GA) and Lifetime (for DH), so that SPs won't pick those up, either. And the DH special is airing with a special colon-appended name on the Family channel.

If I've seen all the eps of these shows, is there any reason for me to watch these specials or are they just to catch up new viewers?

Catch up / preview of the coming season for DH and I think Grey's was just a refresher. I expect Lost to be the same (like last year).
