Hr10-250

Just leased a HR10-250 (DirecTV HD DVR with Tivo). The Software Version with it is 3.1.05f. My Series 2 DirecTV DVR has an upgraded 6.2 Software Version where you can sort and put into folders recordings in What's Playing Now. The HR10-250 doesn't have the capability (software) to do it, I guess.

Has anybody had this problem and if so, what can I do to get the folders and sort options on my new HR10-250?

Appreciate any help ou can give me since DirecTV is not helpful at all on this subject.

You can't do anything. There is a rumor that the HR10-250 will be upgraded to 6.3 software which would enable folders, but most people have been waiting for over a year for that feature. I definitely would like it, I just hope if/when there is an upgrade that it won't mess up any recordings I have scheduled like it did when my SDTiVos were upgraded to 6.2

In the meantime, you can enter the SORT code that will allow yoiur Now Playing List to be sorted. With the NPL displayed press Slow - 0 (zero) - Record - Thumbs up. A new box will appear at the bottom for options.
