Just noticed that NBC and CBS nightly news changed their names to "NBC with Brian Williams" and "CBS with Katie Couric", so my old SP for NBC news and CBS news showed no episodes. For some reason, my ABC new SP always was labled ABC with Charles Gibson :confused: so I didn't have any problems there.

It also means that the weekend episodes now need their own SPs... since they're "with...." someone else.

Oh bother.

I noticed I was not picking up ABC news for Sunday evening. Turns out they changed the name for it also.

For some reason, my ABC new SP always was [labeled] ABC with Charles Gibson :confused:It's possible to change the series name without changing the metadata, so that the SP auto-changes its name. (Or at least I'm pretty certain I've seen that before....)

Edit: And is that what we've seen here, with ABC changing the name of their news show while keeping the SP intact for weekdays, new name and SP required for weekends, while CBS has a new name and SP for weekdays, same name for weekends with SP intact?
