This is a weird one that I'm wondering if people have heard of before.
I exchanged a vizio p50 for a maxent 50" at costco because one of the two hdmi ports had an inferior picture.
As soon as I hooked up the new maxent the 10-250 crashed with the blue screen and temperature error.
After doing experimenting and cable swapping it turns out that the 10-250 only crashes if both hdmi ports are plugged to the tv. It doesn't matter which of the two I've selected. If I'm viewing the 250 and just plug in the dvd's hdmi withing a minute or two the picture will turn purple and a crash will come soon after.
Is it the tv, the 250, or ???? I'm wondering if the dvi detector might clear things up. I do like this tv, the picture is much better than the p50 was.
