hi i want to add another 320gb hdd to my new DT tivo, but on the tivo upgrade instruction site, it says u can only replace the tivo drive...can i just follow those instructions with the formatting it correctly and just use the twinbreeze thing from weaknees and be able to have both drives in my tivo?

also...

"Download the Boot CD image of MFSTool 2.0 here:

*then they have a link here*"

that link is dead on the tivo upgrade website, does anyone have one that will work?

Use the directions for the 540 to add a drive - it is the same procedure. However, when you have a two drive TiVo, you cannot run with a single drive without reloading the drives. Since you have two hard drives, the chances of failure are increased.

Go to ptvupgrade.com and download their LBA48 boot CD iso image.

The Weaknees CD should be just fine. I have used it plenty of times. However, I would agree and say just stick with a one drive upgrade. If you do that initially, its easy to add another drive later.

You should jsut be replacing the original drive anyway. You should never add anything to the small original drive.
