This is a new message I have been getting after the upgrade. I have watched the middle of programs that were being recorded and then I am unable to watch it after it has recorded it. Why would it list the duration as 1 hour if there was no signal? I am able to change the date, delete, recover the program, but when I hit play, it tells me there was no video signal?
Funny how I never saw this message for 2 years until I got the latest upgrade!!
I have a feeling the program is there but the TIVO is unable to access it so it gives this incorrect error message.
I am wondering under what circumstances you would get this error for real. Doesn't the TIVO record no signal for an hour?
I wouldn't mind it so much if it had not recorded anything but since I have seen that it was recording the program, the problem is accessing the recording not htat it did not record.
this is what I am paying my money for, looking at recorded programs. This is a serious problem that TIVO needs to fix. I am pissed.

If the length of the progress bar doesn't match the duration, then there was no signal recorded - could be many reasons for it.

I doubt seriously it's a Tivo problem, rather it's likely a signal or cable problem.

Fast forward and you will probably find there was a signal in the middle of the program (for the time period you were watching.)
