This is frustrating. This is what I've done to diagnose my loss of signal on sat 2 message I'm getting on my primary HR10

1) Swapped out my primary HR10 with another HR10 that I don't use that often - problem persisted
2) Re arranged the outputs on my multiswitch (terk 5x8) to take the primary HR10 to new outputs and put the questionable output to a TV I don't use often - problem peristed

I'm now wondering if my Sat 2 input line on my primary HR10 could be causing the problems. Is it possible that a coax run could cause pixelation and drop out?

Any help would be great....thanks!

Try swapping the cables and see if the pixelation and drop outs move to tuner 1. That would isolate it to that cable run.

I'm having the same problem on my HR10....90's on A/B/C SAT's on SAT1 input......0's on all on SAT2 input. Switched cables.....SAT1 stayed in 90's and nothing still on SAT2. Directv techies says still could be a cable. I'm going to try new cables today. I don't see how the cable could be bad if Sat1 get excellent 3 SAT reception regardless of which cable is connected.

Brand new HR10.....I'm wonder if SAT2 input tuner is bad?

Thanks for any help.

Is line of site to sat2 now blocked? Trees and bushes grow.....

Or do you have a bad LNB? They can go bad over time.

Has something caused a problem with the aiming of the dish?

Or Is there a problem with the input side of the multiswitch in the path, or with a diplexer?
