New to this stuff, just upgraded my Sony T-60 to 160gb, so far so good, now I think I need a 2.5.2 extreme image, any help would be appreciated.

I wouldn't go for Extreme 2.5.2 at this point, rather, I would suggest getting a 3.5 image, as the faster guide and menus make it worth it.

Oh, I didn't know there was anything higher than 2.5.2, ok on that note, yes I'm looking for the latest and greatest verison.

My T-60 software is 3.501-1.011

Thanks.

... yes I'm looking for the latest and greatest verison. My T-60 software is 3.501-1.011I'm confused. You said that you upgraded your box to 160GB. Is that the drive that is running 3.5? Or do you have an old drive in your T-60 running 3.5, and a spare 160GB drive that you want to install on?

3.5 is the latest and greatest (and probably last) version for S1 DTivos, so you should just set about hacking that the way you want it. There's no zipper or xtreme2.5.2 prehacked/script-hack method available for S1 DTivo 3.5, so if you want it hacked, you'll have to read how to do it and do it manually.

I did this myself some months ago, and it wasn't terribly hard, though I didn't have a network adapater for it, so I didn't bother doing much more than getting bash enabled on the serial and replacing the kernel with Todd's.
