That all depends. Do you have the DTV service plan? Did DTV install the multiswitch? Did you contact DTV to see if they'd replace it or did you do it on your own? Trying to get anyone to pay for something that you fixed yourself is usually futile. OTOH, you may be able to get some concessions from DTV in the way of credits on your account if you can get a sympathetic tech support person or CSR. You will probably have to jump through some hoops to prove that the switch actually needed replacement. They're not likely to send you money or give you credits just on your say so.

Call 1-800-DIRECTV and ask to be transferred to Tech Support.
