I have a Sony DVDR (RDR-VX500). I had a Series 2 TiVo hooked up to it for a while. I had no problems recording TiVo stuff on my DVDR. Unfortunately, my TiVo crashed. I got a new Series 2 TiVo DT. When I removed the old TiVo, I left all of the cables right where they were. All I did with the new one is hook up the same cables to the back of the new box. Now when I try to record, the DVDR records for 9 seconds and then stops! I tried different dvds. I tried recording from different sources (they all worked fine). I tried recording different things from TiVo: recorded program, Live TV, paused recording, menu screens. When Tivo is the input to the DVDR it always records for 9 seconds and then stops. I'm getting video and audio on the DVD from the TiVo, only 9 seconds of it! I have no idea what is going on. Does anybody have any advice?
