Duration 0:00 (partial) recordings

Hi,

Over the last few days my tovo has started to create a lot of 0 duration recodings. Tivo 2, 7.3.1-something.

The video signal is there, so that is not the failure. The tivo has been recoding the season passes for a long time without fail, and there have been no channel line up changes.

One other thing that I have noted is that the tivo seems to set itself in a "standby" mode, so I have to hit the tivo button to get a video signal from the tivo to the tv. I am not sure if this is related but it is a change of behavior.

i just checked a bit more and most recordings since Thursday have failed the same way.

Any ideas?

Original or upgraded hard drive? Have you recently been storing more programs on the hard drive?

I have one added HD, but that has been in there for a long time. I actually have not changed the programming for a lomg time and there is not a lot of "keep until I delete" content om the drives.
