I downloaded Heroes from itunes using a download code given to us after we bought movie tickets. I got to the movie by clicking on redeem and then entering the code. All the links were automatic. Not sure if its available any other way.

Why? Something tells me this is NBC's idea and not Apple. Apple has a ton of free videos on iTunes...

Any chance you could post the code? Unless that would be considered stealing or dishonest.

It makes no sense to me why NBC would make us jump through hoops to see this, when they made KIDNAPPED and STUDIO 60 available from Netflix.

is this really a big deal?
it's a way to build clamor around a network show well before it's premiere. it's certainly akin to viral advertising except alot more mainstream. the scarcety(sp?) of the codes will work the word of mouth and people listen to other people. which is why we all talk on here.
so, was the pilot good or sucky?

The first hour is interesting. However its really hard to tell exactly how its going to go, since all it does is start the setup for part of the characters.
I can say this, the Studio 60 pilot blew it away. But that doesnt mean it will not be good, just need to see more before one can judge.

Studio 60 is gonna be good. I noticed an ad for the "other snl like" NBC show where Alec Baldwin thought he was going to be on Studio 60, not the other one.
As for Heroes it certainly looks interesting and I'm looking forward to it.

Looks like the contest is over. Was it the 1 or 2 hour version of the pilot?
What an unbelievably bad marketing idea. First the contest is barely promoted (this was the only place I heard about it) and they restrict it to a seemingly low amount of winners that I didn't even bother giving it a shot until I read how easy people got in.
If you're promoting a new show, wouldn't you want as many people as possible to see it and generate some buzz? It sounds like this was more about AOL promoting AIM instead.

The 1 hour. The pilot is supposed to be 1 hour for 2 showings.

I just read on thefutoncritic that NBC will premier 20 good years and 60 on the sunset strip on AOL.com.
