My other phillips remote quit, and i guess the ir went bad. I got another philips dtv dvr. i use the same ptv ice cake and upgrade cd. I went through and turned the tivowebplus on and usb on, it wont find a ip address when i hook the usb/ network cable. Its the same i had on the old one, so i thought maybe i should format the hard drive so i did that than tried again. still cant get a connection. i think the unit is older than the one i had because the RID # has 0000 other than 000 like my old one. anyone have any sugestions?
