View Full Version : Another Vonage question. . .

I have two HR10-250's one will call out, and complete the call with no problem, the other will fail while negotiating. I am using the same setup for both:

Prefix: 2122773895
Call Wait: ,,#19,,
Tone
Phone Avail: off
Detection: off

I've tried everything, DSL filter. . .etc.

The only thing that I can see that is different is the software. The one I received in October '06, the software is 3.1.5e-01-2-357, the one I received last month is the same, but there is an "f" where the "e" is 3.1.5f

Can anyone shed any light on this?

I also forgot to mention, I just subscribed to Vonage

The software versions might make a difference. But getting Tivo modems to work reliably with Vonage and other VOIP systems is rather hit-or-miss.

Of course, once your Tivo has completed its initial Guided Setup you don't really need a phone connection anymore. You just won't be able to order PPV movies using your remote control (order via the Web instead).
