Ok when you are going to change a main character, WHY would you show the 'last week' scene where the girl was clearly played by another girl? Then show the new girl within 3 minutes of the start of the show. Oh how stupid.
for those not keeping track..it's the dead girl's sister that changed actors.
I'm disappointed in this show because it just turned out to be an evening soap instead of 'really' how they handed the money. No I didnt want to sit on the other side of the desk from an EF hutton broker but the money is pretty secondary here. Or just not played up as much as i wanted.
All this going back and forth between husbands and wifes ....I'll watch All My Children if i want to see that kind of stuff :)
I wonder who's kid the russian bride is and what 17 yr old dad will do if it's not his? And the new hotel heir could have one heck of a fight for the girl (no i dont know any of their names, i've only watched every boring ep :))
this is what i get for dedicating myself to shows that even suck. I just can't turn it off until it's "done"

I've watched every single episode myself (and can't wait for it to go off the air because I think I'll instantly gain about 50 IQ points) and I swear to God I didn't even notice.

My wife really likes Windfall, so I've ended up seeing every episode, too. I didn't notice, either. I haven't been watching all that closely, though. I really only pay attention when Lana is onscreen. Those scenes with her and Jason Gedrick are awful, though. They have zero chemistry.

Watched the first 8 or so episodes and not going to try and finish the season. Good premise of a show, but horrible show!

I really liked it when it first started. Now I am kind of blah about it.

I see it hasn't gotten any better. I enjoyed the first episode and then couldn't even make it through the second episode.

The "dead girl's sister" a.k.a. "Tally" was only in this episode for about 30 seconds, and that was the security cam footage of her. Are you perhaps talking about Maggie, the restaurant owner/former nurse who took care of Sean when he had been shot?

i thought it was the dead girls sister that was running off with him in that hotel...i specifically saw her on the "previews" this week....then about 4 minutes in...isn't that her?

The dead girl's sister ran off after he got shot. The girl whose house he shows up at is Maggie, the restaurant owner. The only other time you see the dead girl's sister is in the security cam footage that Maggie bribed the hotel clerk for.

geez this show is becoming like west wing...actually have to keep your eyes on the screen the entire time to keep up
shame on them for choosing actors that look so alike :)

and now its cancelled after tonight???! was tonight even supposed to be the season finale?
(Check local listings) "Windfall" wraps up its own season tonight -- and that'll be that, as its low ratings mean there won't be a second year. Peter (Luke Perry) decides to give up on counseling and tells Nina (Lana Parrilla) to be with Cameron (Jason Gedrick) for good. But Cameron, thinking Nina is finally over him, goes to meet Beth (Sarah Wynter) at the airport to ask for a second chance. Meanwhile, Damien (Jon Foster) decides he wants Galina (Larissa Drekonja) to raise his baby, and Sean (D.J. Cotrona) finds himself dumped by Tally (Peyton List) again. If you live on the East Coast, check your local listings --'cause there might be a regional preseason NFL broadcast where you live.

Ugh. I have 6 episodes of this left on my Tivo that I figured I would slog through at some point, but I don't know if it's even worth it. The last twe episodes I watched were horrible.

See, this was a good guilty pleasure, wind down before going to bed show for me. Yes, it was bad (but not quite as bad as REUNION) and painful at times, but just what a summer series should be for me.

What the heck was that all about at the end?!?
That was it right?
One of the worst series finales I have EVER seen.

That was a lame ending!
Plus, wasn't there supposed to be a Skins game on last nite instead of this?

the skins were on channel 9. They've been so bad this preseason watching windfall was much prefered.

Okay, crap. Maybe it was the Steelers game I'm thinking of. Something was supposed to be on. WINDFALL (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=313513)

Yeah, it was pretty bad. Let's recap the entire series in the last 45 seconds to a bad remake of "dream on."

Did I miss something? Who and why did someone kidnap her and throw her into the van?

I thought it was her father trying to get money from her mother after the "present"
but I suppose it could have been the russians . . .
that was one of the things that I hated most about the finale--I mean, you don't end a series like that unless you have absolutely no respect for the audience.
it's just lame.

They obviously thought they'd have a second year when they filmed the finale. Otherwise, they wouldn't have left all the loose ends.
