What is Tivo doing with TiVolution Magazine? Obviously not too much these days, they still list Deadwood under opening night and Deadwood wrapped up this past Sunday. With the Fall Season starting...I would expect something new soon.

I signed up for that Guru Guide as well. Right now it's only FOX shows ... hopefully they will add everything they have listed here (http://www.tivo.com/4.0.fallschedule.asp)? That would be great.

It took a while (I forget exactly how long) but eventually the Guru Guide did appear in my Season Pass Manager. It picked up Celebrity Duets last night.
For normal TCO scheduling, it definitely shouldn't take 12 hours. These Guru Guides are relatively new and might be a special case.

FOX shows are the only ones that were on in the next two weeks when the guide came out - as the shows hit the two week range they will start to show up and automatically be added to the Guru Guide. I have Standoff, Till death, Happy Hour, Celebrity Duets in mine currently.
This specific Guru Guide will show up in Season pass manager as "New Fall TV Guru Guide at either the top or bottom depending on the recording options you checked on the web page.
You can go in to that Guru Guide "season pass" and set up season passes for the shows listed. I am really, really liking this Guru Guide

Is there an option or setting that I have to set to get Guru Guides to work? I have two problems. The second is more troubling.
If I select two or fewer shows in the Guru Guide, it asks me if I'd prefer to get a Season Pass for those shows instead. (Well, that's kind of helpful actually.) If I select three or more shows, it insists on scheduling all of the shows, not just the ones I checked. I went ahead and scheduled all of the shows.
the idea is it will keep adding the new shows as they come on to your guide data (two weeks range ) so if you just slect a couple then they let you just do a standard season pass - go for some more and TiVo wants to make sure you get them all as they hit that two week range. I have my Gurur Guide season pass at the bottom of the list of passes and just check to see what it wont record and let TiVo tell me what the conflict is so I can decide whihc way to go
The shows never appear in my Season Pass Manager -- or anywhere in the To Do List. I waited over 12 hours and finally forced a connection to the TiVo service. I received the email from TiVo Central Online proclaiming that all is well, but have no other evidence that anything happened.
This is the first time I've tried recording anything with TiVo Central Online. I'm underwhelmed. With a broadband connection, does it always take up to 12 hours to schedule recordings?!
see my other post - it will be in the season pass manager as a Guru Guide, most likely at the bottom. I did not look ofr mine right away but it did record Justice which aired 24 hours after I set up the guru guide. I have used TCO for other recordings and they all happened within 5 - 15 minutes.

People have speculated that the VCM Connection is the "video content manager" that downloads video content (part of TiVoCast?) like the CNet videos, Rocketboom, etc.

Definitely! Makes my "pilot" and "premier" WishLists obsolete. ;)

The Futon Critic (http://www.thefutoncritic.com/calendar.aspx) is the most comprehensive list I have found. Google has added the non-cable Fall Season premiers to Google Calendar (http://www.google.com/calendar/).

I wish that at least the Fall TV Guru Guide were available from the TiVo directly instead of only online. If they were in Showcases, I'd actually go in there for a change, which might lead me to clicking on one of those ads. (Something for me, something for TiVo...)
I think this is a planned feature. For now, it must be done online however.
