Vanished or Heroes?

Which will you watch this fall? For us poor souls with only one tuner, we have to make a decision... I like Vanished so far, but Heroes looks really good to me...

What are your thoughts?

I watched the first episode of Vanished and it didn't do much for me. The Heroes pilot was interesting but a little cheesy in my opinion. I think I'll be watching Heroes but there's a lot of potential for it to go seriously astray and fall flat.

First off I have to say that Raimi's av is freakin' me out.

Anyways, what's Vanished? I haven't heard about it. So I guess my vote would be Heroes 'cause I've at least heard of it an' planned on watching it. :)

A sci fi show on NBC is bound to get the boot first, but I'll watch it until it does. It will be the only thing I watch on NBC as I currently watch nothing on that network.

Vanished is about a senator's wife who goes missing but whether she was kidnapped or ran away or something else...there has been quite a few plot turns in the past 2 episodes and i think its a good show. The only gripe I have against it is that the main FBI guy cant act but...Spoiler down below since i dont know how to "white it out"....

Because I cancelled my Vanished SP half-way through the disappointing pilot, I have to vote "Heroes". Can't wait for the premiere; I refuse to pay 1.99 for downloaded episodes, and prefer my big-screen, anyway. I already spend too much time on the computer.

Vanished or what was that conspiracy show years ago on UPN, Nowhere Man, same deal and just as lame. Heroes is a comic book all the way through. Heroes will certianly be more fun.

Of the broadcast networks, NBC treats sci-fi pretty decent. They run additional airings of Battlestar every so often, and they allowed Surface to run its full season despite the ratings being in the tank.

And I'll give ABC some credit too for letting Invasion run its full season (although I am still really pissed at them for other ruthless cancellations.)

Don't talk to me about CBS though. And Fox...well we all know what they can do! :D
