I have the AT9 (5lnb) DTV dish installed but it is not aligned. I have the HR10-250 HD Tivo reciever as well. I have read some threads that the HR10-250 does not support this dish then other threads say that it does. The menu of the HR10-250 only has the option for the 3lnb dish and I do not know what the azimuth, elevation, etc should be for this dish. I know that the DTV H20 HD reciever has a menu where you can get azimuth, elevation for the AT9 satellite dish but I don't have the H20 so I can't check the menu to get the proper coordinates.
Is this reciever supported?
Could someone tell me where I can find the coordinates for my zip code 27862 so I can properly align the AT9 dish? I can't seem to find this information anywhere.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Yes, the HR10-250 HD DVR will work fine with the AT9 5-LNB Ka/Ku Dish. Just specify "3-LNB Oval Dish" in it's dish setup menu.
I'm not at home right now to look up those coordinates on my HR20, so hopefully someone will find them for you.
Have you installed one of these dishes before? It can be tricky. You need some specialized equipment to ensure that you're properly aligned for the new MPEG4 satellites. Check out the installation videos at http://www.solidsignal.com.

Thanks for the reply. No, I have never installed one of these dishes and I believe it can be tricky. If you or someone else could, please post the coordinates for the zip 27862 from your H20 or HR20 reciever menu (I think both are supported in the menus) for the AT9 5lnb dish.
Thanks again for your help!

Just so you know, you have to aim the dish precisely. You are trying to pick up a signal that has a beam width of about an 1/4 of an inch. If you are not exactly aimed you will miss the signal and get nothing. 10 years ago when I tried to aim my dish I stood in the driveway and held the dish and moved it around. I had put up many TV antennas and you only have to be close to get a good signal with a TV antenna. After I put up the first dish I understood better what I was doing.
Aim the dish for proper height and tilt, then move it slowly from one side to the other side to try and find the exact point you need to be to get the signal. It's easy after you have done it once.
