I have two TiVo boxes, a Humax T800 and a TiVo Series 2, and I have never seen this problem before I got the recent KidZone system upgrade, and now it has happened twice on the Humax and just now on the Series 2. The TiVo's get partially locked up, in that only a few of the remote buttons work. I can get info on the currently recording show, but I can't get to TiVo Central. The select button is ineffective to leave Channel Lock.
I can see the recording time line. I can even move the current position back and forth with the << and >> buttons, but I can't see any of the show. The screen is black except for the TiVo overlays.
It's hard to believe something has gone simultaneously wrong with both my boxes. I think the upgrade has a serious bug.
