I didn't see this mentioned here - my Lost Season Pass is picking up the Lost Survival Guide on Saturday. It looks like a 30 minute show with the creators about "recent happenings". Is this just another way for them to tie in the Lost Experience before the next season?

I figured it being Lost and all, I would at least see someone mention it.

So did anyone else watch this?

It was actually kind of funny to hear them talk about Lost. My wife and I enjoyed it - a nice diversion for 20 minutes.

My favorite part was when Jimmie Kimmel talked about taking all of the numbers, adding them up (108) and dividing by 815. The result is you will probably never have sex with a woman. My wife and I cracked up at that one - it rememinded me of the nuts posting here.

I watched it. Pretty much a waste. No particularly interesting information at all.

I watched it, and was mildly entertained. I'm very much looking forward to the return of the show. One thing that caught my eye was a brief clip they showed that I couldn't place from Season 1 or Season 2:

It's a scene with Jack and a coronor, inside a morgue "freezer", standing over Jack's father's bodybag on a slab. The coroner unzips the bodybag and you can clearly see Jack's dad's corpse.

Am I just not recalling the episode where this was shown?

No real information - but it was more to get people caught up that are just coming into it.

For people like us who read the forums and know the small details, it isn't a big deal. But it's more for people like my wife - she forgot some of the things they covered and it was a good recap.

It was entertaining for me to hear the creators talk - I hadn't seen them or heard them before (I don't do the podcast thing) so it was new for me.

danterner - As for that scene - I believe that was season 1 when Jack had to ID his dad's body in Australia. It was early on, so it is easy to forget, but I think I remember seeing it.

I would have liked to have seen more examples of the numbers popping up.

It's a flashback scene from White Rabbit (Season 1). That's the episode where Jack is seeing his father on the island and the last flashback scene is him trying to get the coffin with his father in it on board the aircraft.

I think the point was to get people who aren't into the show to realize that they can start watching now, even though they don't know all the mystery stuff. If they highlight the ridiculousness of the numbers, it will alienate the exact people they're trying to draw.

I am wondering why my LOST season pass didn't catch this. It is number one on the season pass list...and has been for a couple years now.

Neither of my TiVos showed it coming on, either. Apparently not much of a loss.

Check to see if it actually aired in your area yet. I noticed that here in AZ, this show aired on Saturday night, and they had similar 30-minute recap episodes for Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy which aired here on Sunday afternoon. The scheduling of these indicated to me that the local affiliates had some control in where they aired and maybe your local affiliate just hasn't shown them yet. Check the upcoming shows, and also go back in the guide to see if it aired on Saturday evening.

Thanks, bacevedo and tanstaffl. You're absolutely right, and now I recall the scene. My Season 1 DVDs are "on-loan," but I found the scene on the White Rabbit script (http://www.pressexecute.com/scripts/).
