Hello..
Just scored a Humax T800 non-dvd unit at Walmart for $50. A few threads indicated that this unit would not qualify for a lifetime subscription because it is not a dvd model. Can anyone confirm?
Thanks

A non-dvr dvr?
The T800 is a DVR. It's a non-DVD unit... though...
Never-activated Humax units can be activated with lifetime - just call TiVo and they'll help. You can also activate for $12.95/month or $6.95 if you have any other TiVo DVRs.

Duh...DVD..just edited.
Several posts, including the "New Pricing Structure" one says that this unit is not eligible...I will have to call in the morning.
Thanks..

The lifetime exception is only on the DVD boxes. I asked about that back when the exception was first posted.
