DirecTivo - Watching items on DVR

I have a DirecTivo and recently discontinued my DirecTV Service and now I can't see what's on the DVR because the Tivo component keeps looking for the satellite and won't go to the List. Is there a way to get to see what I've got recorded on the Tivo?

Press NOW PLAYING or TIVO button

I seem to recall that it finally gives up and dumps you into the familiar menus. Then hit the DirecTV button twice to get to your now playing list.

Something might cause it to try again, requiring another lengthly delay. Maybe hitting Live TV? You'll figure it out.

Depending on your remote the TiVo button might actually be a DirecTV button. But pressing that should bypass the satellite check and dump you at the main menu.

The DTiVo will complain that your service isn't active if you try to look at wishlists, season pass manager, or liveTV. But you can use the Now Playing list and play back existing recordings.
