Info on current recording during playback

When I'm watching a previously recorded show (almost always) it would be nice to be able to find out what Tivo is currently recording when the red light comes on -- without having to go to "live tv," which makes getting back to my current show several remote clicks away. Perhaps hitting info twice during playback of a recorded show could bring up the info for the current recording session rather than the currently viewed program?

Also, it would be nice if I could stop that show from being recorded (and optionally deleted) if I don't care for it (like most suggestions) - again, without having to painfully return to where I was before I started.

I find it unlikely that they'd give you control over a recording while watching something - that's too confusing, to have controls doing something unrelated while in a recording.

But there are other places to check on what is recording as well - the To Do list shows current recordings at the top, and Now Playing will always have what is currently recording. Exception to both - if it is recording one of the special broadcasts late at night, those don't show up anywhere.
