Background. I have a Sony SAT-T60, series 1 DTiVo. Recently the remote for it died (I'm guessing the IR emitter died, but that is just a guess). The Sony remote uses different IR codes than the normal TiVo peanut remotes.
At the moment I'm using DirecTV's universal remote programed for the T60.

My problem is that the DirecTV remote doesn't seem to have a slow-mo button. (At least not one I can see.) Without this button I can't enable the Now Playing List sorting on the T60. (Unfortunately it lost power since the remote died, and that unprogrammed the sort code).

So my question is: Does anybody know how to get the DirecTV universal remote to send a slow-mo code for a Sony SAT-T60 DTiVo?

[I know I could get a replacement remote, but I hate to spend the money since I'm replacing this DTiVo and just want to use it to watch my backlog of existing recordings]

Nope, can't be done with white remote. You can pick up a remote at radio shack for $10 that can do it, its the 15-2142, with the help of some 5 digit advanced codes:

slow- 00236
zero-00142
record-00207
thumbs down-00062 or thumbs up- 00066 ( forget which one :))
