No reason for it. eSATA will work betetr than USB, is an industry standard and enclosures for eSATA can be found just like enclosures for "USB" drives.

the real question is will TiVo allow/make work the use of any drive or even eSATA RAID enclosures (would be sweet) or will they have to sell us Blessed hard drives?
