View Full Version : Replaced HD-still can't go past "welcome" screen.

my Series two TCD240008A went out the other night. Based on internet posts-it looked like it was a HD problem. I just got my new HD from weaknees and installed it per instructions. I still can not get past the welcome screen. Is this now a power issue? Is there any way to test this? Thanks.
last time I had this probelm it was a jumper issue - you need to make sure the repalcement drive is set to the correct jumper (sounds like master in yoru one drive system). If it is not (typically cable select fromt eh factory) it won't work
