Lost all programs

Hi, I just updated from 2.3 to 2.3a on Tivo desktop and at end of download, all my shows that were saved on my pc are gone. It did start to transfer all the shows that are saved on tivo but the ones that were deleted are all gone. Will doing a system restore to a early date bring back my shows and give me back version 7.2?

Are you sure the shows are gone? Maybe the new desktop program is looking somewhere other then where you've got the program stored. Try finding the programs using widnows explorer, or search for files named *.tivo.
