Ok, I've had this happen in the past. I would start something transferring and come back later and it would show that the transfer had failed and had a red X beside that transfer. I found these instructions a long time back and they worked then:
1) Make sure you have finished transferring what you want transfered or write down what's left in your transfer-status list.
2) Exit TiVo Desktop.
3) Go into the task-manager, switch to the "Processes" tab, and do a right-click "End Process" on the process "TivoTransfer.exe".
4) Find the file "C:\Documents and Settings\<your-windows-username>\Local Settings\Application Data\TiVo Desktop\TiVoTransfer.dat" and rename it to something else like xxTiVoTransfer.dat.
5) Carefully read the *Note* below.
6) Restart TivoDesktop.
7) Transfer-status should now be empty.
8) If you wrote-down anything queued for transfer in step 1, restart those transfers now.
But now to the problem...I can't find TivoTransfer.dat anywhere on my pc. There is also nothing related to Tivo even showing up anywhere under Documents and Settings. So, I can find nothing to clear now.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
The problem I seem to be having each week is StarGate Atlantis. StarGate SG-1 transfers fine, but for the last 2 weeks Atlantis errors out on me. :mad:
