Toshiba Rs TX20 won't record

I recently had my HD die and replaced it with a new HD. It went through setup and now is all ready. I can watch live TV and Rewind and FF within the 30 minute time of TiVo but If I try to record - nothing happens and if I look on Recorded list - if gives me a out of use 1800 Toshiba number and tells me to tell them I have Error #51. I have tried restart twice.
Any advice

When you did the restore to the new HD, did you use someone else's image, or was it from your original drive?

Usually the error #51 is caused by using a different image. Doing a "Clear and Delete Everything" might resolve it.
