View Full Version : 1000 channel cable box update

My cable co. (cox san diego) just updated my box to having channels at the 1000s. It screwed up my tivo for awhile until I figured that I had to go into settings and change the channel changeing setup to 0000 instead of 000. But tivo cant record channels above 999. Anybody get this update from their cable company? Is there any info from Tivo about resolving this issue?

Does TiVo (the company) show grid listings for the channels above 999?

If not, the first thing to do would be to notify TiVo that their listings for your cable system (with box) are no longer correct.

My guess is that'd be the first step.

If your TiVo doesn't KNOW there are channels above 999, then it won't be able to look for them or tune them.
