Maybe I'm haven't been looking in the right spot, but I have read in this forum various references to 3rd party software add-ons (encouraged by TiVo), which do some of the same things I seem to already get from TiVo (like picture viewing, music playing, traffic, podcasts, etc), but often with extra bells and whistles. In addition, there seem to be some other things these add-ons can do, like show me my e-mail, let me know how much space is used up on my DVR hard drive, etc., which I can't currently get from the Tivo offerings alone. What I would like to see is some sort of kept-up-to-date overview as to exactly what is available, along with user reviews, comments, bugs, etc., but centralized in one relatively concise area in this forum (or anywhere, for that matter). Is there enough of this discussion to merit a new Mega-category in this forum? Or is there actually some individual thread that I haven't found? Some of these add-ons sound very interesting, but I feel like I have to do a lot of chasing around to determine whether any of these are worth adding.
